From live food to specialized reptile supplies, we are dedicated to serving pet lovers with exceptional products and knowledge.
We are a captive breed only supplier, this means all animals sold by Grinning Gecko have been breed in captivity and not taken from the wild. We have many breeding projects of our own, some of species not commonly found captive breed in this country, with the hopes to help start introducing captive breed animals into the UK market.
Our Story
Grinning Gecko first opened its doors in 2016. Opened by Mal, he
started the business with the ethos "quality through care" offering only captive breed, quality animals. He quickly developed a reputation for
providing excellent service at great prices, customers could see the love and care that was provided to the animals and through the years he provided many customers with well cared for pets, that with his
continued support, have lived long and happy lives.
In 2024 Mal took his retirement and the store was taken over by Luke.
With a love for all things reptilian and the weird and wonderful creatures of the world, Grinning Gecko has added many new and
exciting animals and there is always something unusual for customers to come and see. With the continued support of their customers Grinning Gecko is continuing to grow offering all of the latest
technologies in animal Husbandry, and educating their customers to ensure every animal has the best they possibly can.
